8/26/2023 0 Comments Darkest dungeon bloodmoon guide![]() The Guide (Work in progress for a day or two, expect way more detail) The guide to winning on stygian bloodmoon: (work in progress) WARNING! SPOILERS! I still managed the entire 100 round run with 0 retreats from battle, but I would have had I needed to). That never happened.) (Ok it did, but I got control back pretty quick and running was a smart move at that point. (No, i did not try and retreat and fail near the end. Was so excited to have survived I forgot to grab the chest in her room before leaving. Had not used blood as a buff in forever, forgot how much stress it added and spammed it too much early on. Countess is nasty, nasty creature and needs to be faced as perfectly prepared as possible. ![]() Almost lost because I decided to push things so that I would have more time to level of my jester and MMA. Would have had to use 5-7 potions had i otherwise set things up perfectly) Also selected one wrong talent before fight, so could not reach max self buff.ģ) One of the the PD needed to level up his buff skill.Ĥ) Did not use shard potion (I actually remembered to but decided not to chance messing up the otherwise perfect run by ramping up the jester's stress. Went well, could have stunned or killed the teleporter a bit more, but won with no real risks.ĭD 4: Failing to One Shot the Heart, end of otherwise perfect run.ġ) Only second time getting to heart in stygain, need to math out exactly what hps values i need to leave her at.Ģ) Got jester at last minute after hearing about this strat, he needed more quirks. Always bring scales to final content if you have any left, i think i could have eaisly done this without needing them if i had more endgame experience, but they really helped me out. He would have been fine to take the hits then and would have been relativly safe. Had so much stress protection, way too much on Raynald, he needed more prot. Forgot that I could have shielded with a Houndmaster, Had no more anqiuarians and my only MMA was for the one shot attempt at final boss. Went well, could have used a PD to double stun the boss though. This is my first time making gaming videoes, I hope they are helpful. Videos and analysis of the last 5 runs (work in progress, Tons of Spoliers). Viscount and Countess completed in single run (viscount without taking damage from boss) DD2 and 4 could have gone a lot smooter with a bit better planning. A few other situations where monsters could potentially killed me if they had focused fire. Other Close calls: Was wasting with CC once early on. One early on, one from swine god/Wilbur combo, once on the Countess and once on the final battle with the heart. Hits taken on death’s door 4 (2 blocked with scales). ![]() Retreats from battle: 0 (1 failed attempt) More coming soon, but for now, some stats for my run: I also have screenshots at various points in the hamlet with the graveyard, as well as the last round of every boss (except the green ones). I also managed to win without retreating from a single battle (I did try to run one round on the countess, but failed and wound up killing her anyway.) I also only retreated from two maps, one when the fanatic jumped my antiquarian party, and once on the Baron to refresh my party. I took videos of my countess run and all four DD, and will be posting them below along with a guide on what I did in what relative order. I am still practicing one shotting the heart, so perhaps a totally deathless run is next (likely with the next expansion), but I still managed to beat the game as it was designed without dying due to regular mechanics. Just like my run when the crimson court was released, I managed to beat the game on stygian/bloodmoon with 0 (unscripted) deaths (including endless harvest).
